Battle Rival

This is part 2 of my entry for the second round of Enchanted-Fairies's story/art contest here: Story/Art Contest Round 2  (gosh, I never know if it's going to use the tile or the site adress)
The task for this part of this round was to draw my OC having a battle with the regions hero (or rival in some cases).
Who will win? (Well, we'll probably find out in the next round...)
Kindle is, of course, in her Team Rocket uniform, and she is battling Gary Oak. (he looks so bad!)
But... but.... the Pokemon look okay...
I read on bulbapeidia that Blue has a Tyranitar when he's a gym leader... so I gave it to Gary... And we already know Kindle has a Houndour, so yeah...
That background... I'm not happy with any of them...
